Romney Park offers six beautifully appointed venues to choose from for your memorable event. Romney Park can cater for the smallest gathering or for a banquet of up to 70 guests. The venues can function simultaneously or independently.
BAR
A private and informal venue, the George Bar offers an array of cocktails, fine whiskies and a wide selection of the Cape’s best wines. On sunny days enjoy the flow from the bar onto our outdoor terraces, whilst in winter cosy up to the crackling fire. 30 Guests can be accommodated comfortably in this popular venue.
LOUNGE
With plush upholstery and modern wallpaper for intimate pre-dinner cocktails functions or private lunches and dinners. Up to 15 Guests can be accommodated easily.
VERANDA
The generous covered veranda provides a relaxed outdoor environment in which to host high tea, sip sundowners or a enjoy a sumptuous dinner or corporate lunch.
THE GEORGE RESTAURANT
This elegant restaurant serves up hearty and delicious culinary delights. It is ideal for dinner dances, food and wine pairings, wedding receptions, cocktail, birthday or office parties and conferences. Accommodating 48 guests seated, the restaurant can host up to 70 people for a cocktail party.
DECK
This exposed venue can be enclosed with a Bedouin tent for a winters eve cocktail party or left open for balmy summer sundowners. Also ideal for an exclusive wedding reception with crystal chandeliers and snow white gazebos, this venue can accommodate up to 70 guests.
ROOFTOP
The Governor suite situated on the top floor of the hotel with panoramic views of Cape Town, is the ultimate venue for an intimate, romantic wedding or private roof top party. The lush, tropical roof garden can accommodate up to 30 seated guests to witness the exchanging of vows inside our glass enclosed gazebo.
